"What are antioxidants?"
Vitamins C, E and A and beta carotene are elements of food which should be consumed in their natural state and not in the form of a pill. Antioxidants help to protect cell membranes and tissues against harmful byproducts of metabolism, pollution, toxins and other substances. Ingesting foods with these and many other natural, healing qualities will help your immune system.

"I like pizza and beer, how much am I going to pack on if I go out with my friends?"

Beer:
One beer contains 146 calories, 13g or carbohydrates and 18mg of sodium. These are empty calories with no nutritional value and to get rid of these calories you need to walk for 45 minutes for each beer.

Pizza:
One slice of Pizza Hut Stuffed Crust Supreme Pizza has 400 calories in it as well as 1,070mg of sodium and 16 grams of fat. This means that you will want to drink something to counter the effects of the sodium and if this means more beer you will be getting more calories.

"I need a diet I don't have to think about!"
Follow these simple rules.

  1. Eat small portion sizes at each sitting with lots of vegetables.
  2. Take out bread, butter and sugar from your diet altogether.
  3. Drink water every chance you get.
