Bronchitis

"I kissed her and found out she had bronchitis now what do I do?"
Bronchitis is transmitted in this way and may be bacterial or viral. Plan to be alert for the onset of a cough, sore throat or fever in the next week and if you know you have been exposed to someone try and limit your exposure to others.

"I have a cough, do I have to go on antibiotics?"
This is a determination for your health care professional after a history and brief examination. Many times antibiotics are not indicated and the respiratory infection clears up without treatment. Coughs that persist for more than 2 weeks should always be evaluated by a health care professional.
